Port Blair, the capital city of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, is the gateway to the archipelago and is connected with various islands via multiple daily ferries. Elephant Beach -
Elephant Beach mainly famous for water sports adventurous excursions including swimming, kayaking, fishing, and many more. Here you can also see the Mangrove Forests.
If you think that the best way to reach Elephant Beach is via boat then you are wrong! The trekking trail is the best way to reach Elephant Beach as it is well marked, safe, and a simple walk of merely 2 km. You may find the boat operators, elaborating the risks of this trek which is part of their business tactics.
We left in havelock island around 10-11 o'clock in the morning. And we reached Neil Iceland by 4 0'clok.
Laxmanpur beach /Howrah Bridge -
On the same day, we visited Laxmanpur beach with the help of a tour guide. As per suggestion by the tour guide, We took the complete package from sunrise point to sunset point, which includes vehicle facility and sightseeing
Laxmanpur beach, named after the devoted younger brother of Lord Ram.
Accessible only during low tide, the location is Gem of an attraction. It is advisable to take a guide who will point out the various interesting and intriguing flora and fauna (like fishes, corals, starfish, anemone, sea cucumber, etc.) present at various nooks and corners.
Where to stay? - Tango beach resort
We have done booking in Tango beach resort through make my trip. The link provided below. the hotel is beside the sea and the view from the resort is breathtaking. In the night it becomes more mysterious.
Day7 - Sitapur Beach
Sitapur Beach is the best spot to watch the sunrise on Neil Island. The sunrise was a gorgeous sight. The shades of the skies kept changing with different tones of teal and orange. I can never forget those moments I had while watching it
It's a nice beach for water sport activities almost all the water sports are here except para sailing glass bottom ride is awesome jet ski and banana peel ride all are nice
Not visited due to lack of timing -
1) In Port Blair the nearest Beach, Corbyn's Cove. The Crescent-shaped coconut palm fringed Corbyn's Cove ideal for swimming & bathing. The coastal drive to this beach is awesome.
2) Ross island -
This amazing island, just 10 minutes by speedboat from Aberdeen Jetty at Port Blair, takes you back in time the moment you step on & are welcomed by the Japanese Bunker. The beach is badly damaged during the Tsunami along with almost half of this island which bore the brunt of the Tsunami and saved Port Blair city.
